Description

The Pastelmat block by Clairefontaine is a 360 g/m² pastel card pad crafted to support rich pigment layering without saturation or the need for fixatives. The surface format is soft yet adherent, enabling energetic strokes and subtle shading across multiple layers. Suitable for dry pastel and capable of handling wet techniques and alcohol without altering the grain or grip of the surface. Each pad contains 12 sheets separated by crystal spacers and a glued finish for easy sheet removal. This block includes four colour leaves: dark green, light green, dark blue, and white. It is acid-free and designed for long-term preservation of drawings.
