Description

The PASTELMAT BLOCK from Clairefontaine is a glued card block designed for pastel techniques. It features a soft, adherent surface that enables multiple layers of pigment without saturation or the need for fixatives. While ideal for dry pastel work, the paper also retains its properties when used with wet techniques or alcohol. The 360g cardstock and 30 x 40 cm format provide a sturdy surface across 12 sheets, each protected by a crystal paper insert and separated by a glued edge for easy removal. The paper is acid-free with a neutral pH to help preserve artworks over time.
