Clairefontaine Pastelmat Pad No.2 is a glued block of 360 g/m² pastel card designed for the pastel technique. It features four shades with three sheets of each, providing a versatile surface for layering pigments without saturation. The unique Pastelmat surface allows for energetic strokes and smooth shading, while retaining its texture when used with wet or alcohol-based media. Each sheet is separated by a crystal paper insert for protection, and the pad is acid-free to help preserve drawings over time.
