Application Instructions

Surface Preparation: Remove debris from greyed wood with a stiff brush or broom, then dampen with water. Ensure wood is bare and untreated for best results. Perform a trial application first. Protect sensitive surfaces like plants, metallic components, stones, and renders.

Method of Application: Generously apply the gel along the wood grain. Allow a reaction time of approximately 20 minutes. Clean the surface with the Osmo Decking Cleaning Brush and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Avoid pressure/jet washers. After the wood has dried completely (approx. 2-3 days in favourable weather conditions), ensure the moisture content is below 20% before protecting with an Osmo wood finish.

Important Notes

• Most effective on bare, untreated timber. Existing treatments may hinder the revival process.
• Protect surrounding areas from contact with the gel.
• Dried wood may appear light in colour after treatment; the full colour is revealed after applying an Osmo finishing oil.
