Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Matt is a high-performance, all-surface paint designed for the long-term decoration of various exterior materials including timber, metal, masonry, plastic, and concrete. It provides a durable, low-maintenance, water-shedding coating that is breathable and re-coatable in just 1 hour. This versatile paint is self-priming and can be applied to previously painted surfaces without the need for sanding, even over glossy finishes or those coated with bitumen, tar varnish, or creosote.

The formulation includes a biocide to protect the dried coating from fungal degradation. The matt finish helps bridge minor surface imperfections up to 0.5mm wide and offers excellent resistance to cracking, blistering, and flaking. It is fully weather resistant with excellent colour retention, and unlike many other matt finishes, coloured coatings will not darken when wet.

Two coats of Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Matt are recommended for optimal performance, ensuring exterior surfaces remain protected and aesthetically pleasing for years. The first coat acts as a primer and sealer, while the second topcoat enhances moisture resistance and protection. This paint is particularly well-suited for exterior buildings featuring timber and metal cladding.

Please note: This product contains a biocide to protect the dried film from fungal degradation. Once dried, the paint film is classed as a treated article.
