How it Works

The UBCO1 continuously monitors the atmosphere for carbon monoxide. If harmful levels are detected (starting from 30ppm), the alarm will sound a loud 85dB warning. Visual indicators on the front of the unit provide status updates: the red LED signals an alarm, the green LED indicates normal operation, and the yellow LED alerts to a potential fault with the alarm itself. Different sound patterns are associated with each LED indication.

Safety Recommendations

Upon activation of the alarm, it is recommended to immediately ventilate the property, evacuate to a safe place, and contact emergency services.
