About this item
Immerse yourself in a terrifying double feature with The Hills Have Eyes and The Hills Have Eyes 2, presented by Twentieth Century Fox on DVD.
The Hills Have Eyes (2006 Remake)
Plot Summary: Based on the chilling original film by horror master Wes Craven, this remake plunges viewers into the nightmare of a family road trip gone horribly wrong. Stranded in a desolate government atomic zone, miles from any civilization, the Carter family soon uncovers the horrifying truth: this seemingly empty wasteland is the territory of a blood-thirsty mutant family, and the travelers are their new prey.
The Hills Have Eyes 2
Plot Summary: The terror continues in this sequel. A group of National Guard troops, following a failed training exercise, is dispatched to deliver supplies to scientists in Yuma Flats, New Mexico. They soon discover the grim remnants of a research camp, leading them into an encounter with the same mutant inhabitants from the first film—victims of nuclear testing grounds. The inbred cannibal family relentlessly stalks the soldiers, picking them off individually in gruesome fashion. Directed by Martin Weisz and co-written by genre creator Wes Craven and his son Jonathan, this sequel to the 2006 remake introduces political undertones by casting unlucky soldiers as its victims, hinting that war itself can be the ultimate horror, even amidst mutant cannibals.
