Shooting Notes

For optimal results, particularly in challenging lighting conditions:

• If Intelligent Auto mode struggles to focus, especially with strong light sources or flashing lamps, consider switching to Scene Selection mode and choosing appropriate scenes like 'Night Scene', 'Twilight', or 'Handheld Twilight'.
• Alternatively, in Program Auto mode, adjust the Focus Area to 'Center' or 'Center Autofocus'.
• For night portraits, use Scene Selection mode and select 'Night Scene', 'Twilight', 'Night Portrait', or 'Twilight Portrait' when people are the subjects.
• If focusing issues persist across different modes, consider using DMF (Direct Manual Focus) or MF (Manual Focus) options.
