OB1 PlumbersPal is a versatile white sanitary sealant and adhesive, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Its advanced formula offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces and remains permanently elastic once cured.

Key Features

• Anti-Fungal & Mould-Resistant: Designed to prevent mould and mildew growth, making it perfect for damp areas like bathrooms, kitchens, and showers. Features a neutral, non-staining formula.
• Controlled Working Time: Offers approximately 10 minutes for smoothing and adjustments before it begins to set.
• Waterproof & Flexible Seal: Cures to form a strong, flexible, and waterproof seal that accommodates natural movement without cracking.
• Wide Temperature & Resistance: Apply between +5°C to +40°C. Once cured, it resists cold, heat, moisture, UV light, and general weather conditions. Frost-safe for transport, but not for permanent submersion.
• Excellent Adhesion: Bonds to tiles, ceramic, glass, metal, PVC, painted surfaces, concrete, and plaster, even on slightly damp surfaces.
• Paintable: Can be painted over once fully cured.
• Permanently Elastic: Maintains flexibility to adapt to building movement.

Application Guidance

• Suitable for sealing around baths, sinks, showers, and other sanitary areas.
• For small gaps, depth should approximate width. For wider gaps, use a shallower depth.
• Apply in smooth vertical lines. Support heavy items for approximately 24 hours during fixing.

Cleaning, Coverage & Storage

• Uncured sealant and tools can be cleaned with OB1 Cleaner. Hardened sealant must be removed manually.
• Coverage: Approximately 8-12 metres per 290ml tube, depending on bead thickness.
• Storage: Store unopened tubes between +5°C and +25°C. Shelf life is 24 months.
