What Is MCC
A low melt point metal cutting compound designed to improve cutting accuracy and prolong tool life by reducing heat and friction between tool and workpiece. MCC is fortified with MoS2 and contains extreme pressure additives to prevent burning and smoking during use.
Usage & Handling
- Ready-to-use; apply directly to the tool (stationary) or the hole to be tapped using a brush or by dipping
- May be used on a range of metals and light alloys
- Other MOLYSLIP products such as MWF or MWS may be better suited for different tasks; MCC offers a soft paste option for brush or dip use
Note: For best results, select the most appropriate lubricant form for the task at hand and follow safe handling practices.
