How to Use the Desoldering Pump
- Press the plunger down until it locks with an audible click.
- Heat the solder joint with your soldering iron until the solder is fully liquid.
- Position the desoldering pump's tip next to the molten solder. Move the soldering iron away and immediately cover the liquid solder with the pump's tip. Pull the trigger to suction the solder.
- Repeat as necessary.
How to Use the Solder Wick
- Place the solder wick over the solder joint you wish to remove.
- Apply your heated soldering iron tip onto the wick.
- Remove the wick once the solder has been absorbed.
- Cut off the used portion of the wick.
- Repeat if needed.
