Furniture Clinic Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner Water-Based 250ml Indoor Outdoor

Prepare Your Wood for a Perfect Finish

Furniture Clinic Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner is designed to prepare all types of wood before applying a water-based wood stain. This essential step ensures a more uniform and even absorption of stain, preventing blotching and spotting for a professional, enhanced look.

Key Features

• Uniform Stain Application: Promotes even stain absorption for reduced blotching and spotting.
• Enhanced Wood Appearance: Brightens and enriches the wood's natural beauty when stained.
• Environmentally Friendly: Water-based, low odour, VOC-free, and non-toxic formulation.
• Easy Cleanup: Simple to clean with soap and water.
• Versatile Application: Suitable for interior and exterior use on a wide range of woods.
• Quick Drying: Dries within one hour, allowing for efficient project completion.

Suitable for All Woods

This conditioner is effective on softwoods like pine, fir, and spruce, as well as porous hardwoods such as birch, maple, and alder. It helps these woods absorb stain more evenly, leading to consistent colouring.

Easy to Use

Apply the conditioner to pre-prepared wood using a foam brush, bristle brush, or cloth. The product dries quickly, preparing the surface for staining.

Recommended Use

After applying the Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner, use with Furniture Clinic's water-based Wood Stains or Exterior Wood Stains for best results. Complement the stained finish with Furniture Clinic's Waxes, Varnishes, or Oils to add protection and achieve your desired sheen (matt, satin, or gloss).
