Dolphin Automotive Dual Reversing Camera Ford Transit Van 2014 Onwards

Product Overview

This Dolphin Automotive Dual Reversing Camera system is designed for the Ford Transit 4th Generation van, manufactured from 2014 onwards. It replaces the existing single brake light, offering enhanced visibility for various van configurations including Standard, High Roof, Cargo, and Jumbo variations. Please note, this camera is not compatible with the smaller Ford Transit Custom, Connect, or Courier models. The unit is designed to fit where your original high-level third brake light is approximately 38.5cm by 5cm, built into the roof of your van.

Camera Design

The dual camera system features one camera facing outwards to provide a rear view behind your van and a second camera angled downwards to view the bumper area. Both cameras are equipped with ball and socket joints, allowing for adjustable angles to suit your specific needs. A replacement LED light is integrated into the unit, ensuring a plug-and-play replacement for your existing brake light.

Operation and Display Options

When paired with Dolphin Automotive single screen monitors, the system displays the rear view while driving. Upon selecting reverse gear, the monitor automatically switches to the bumper view. For a dual monitor setup, you can maintain the rear view on one screen while receiving the bumper view on reverse, or wire both cameras to an ignition live for constant dual vision of both camera angles.

Included Kit Components

Monitors are sold separately and come with their own mounts and compatible cabling. Mirror monitor options are designed to clip over an existing rear-view mirror, while dashboard monitors adhere to your dashboard.
