About this item

CCA Carpet Heat Seam Joining Tape

A well-made traditional gold foil backing tape offering additional installation benefits. The foil backing reduces heat loss into the floor and provides a faster adhesive melt rate. This tape features 11 running beads of adhesive for secure joining.

Key Features

Traditional Gold Foil Backing: Reduces heat loss and speeds up melt rate.
11 Running Beads of Adhesive: Ensures a strong, secure join.
Easy to Use: Works with grooved or flat based heat seam irons set at temperature 3.
Suitable for Woven and Secondary Backed Carpet: Ideal for various carpet types.
Residential and Commercial Use: Versatile for different installation environments.
Full 20 Meter Roll: Generous length for multiple jobs.
100mm Width: Standard width for effective carpet joining.

How to Use

Place the tape under the carpet join with the glue side facing up. Iron on top of the tape adhesive using a heat seam iron. Move the iron smoothly, melting the glue without forcing. Continue joining behind the iron as you move forward.

Primarily used by carpet floor layers with a grooved base seaming iron. This tape offers excellent value and performance.
