The Flex-Hone tool, originally developed by Brush Research Manufacturing, is designed for deglazing cylinder walls and creating a plateau finish. This tool produces an oil-holding cross-hatch pattern and a true plateau finish, free from cut, torn, and folded metal. It is self-centering, self-aligning, and self-compensating for wear, requiring no elaborate setup or special training.
