Brush Research FLEX-HONE Tool
The FLEX-HONE® tool, originally developed by Brush Research Manufacturing, is designed to create a plateau finish and an oil-holding cross-hatch pattern. This flexible honing process eliminates peaks, resulting in rapid ring seating, improved oil control, reduced seepage in hydraulic and pneumatic applications, and enhanced seal performance and longevity. The tool is self-centering, self-aligning, and self-compensating for wear, requiring no special setup or training.
