About this item
BG Electrical Nexus Black Nickel Switched Power Socket with USB Charging
This sleek and slim single switched power socket from BG Electrical Nexus at Luceco features a sophisticated black nickel finish with softly rounded corners and a gently curved rocker, combining quality with modern elegance.
Smart USB Charging
The integrated USB charging ports offer convenience and efficiency. The 'Smart' USB feature enters standby mode once your device is fully charged and can auto-detect your USB device to adjust its charging pattern accordingly. This makes it suitable for a wide range of devices, including iPhones and Android appliances. It provides a 2.1A USB charging output, shared across two Type A outlets (5V), and includes a protective overload function.
Easy Installation
Conveniently angled, in-line, colour-coded captive screw terminals make installation and wire connection incredibly easy, even with the addition of USB ports. A minimum mounting box depth of 25 mm is recommended, making it ideal for retrofit installations.
Durable Design
The socket features a fixed integrated plastic gasket to protect metal edges from moisture, with no visible plastic around the switches. The Nexus Metal range is built to last, with a 10-year guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship for total peace of mind.
