ATEN CV211 Portable Laptop USB Console Crash Cart Adapter

The ATEN CV211 Laptop USB KVM Console Crash Cart Adapter is designed for IT System Administrators and Data Center Technicians who require efficient operation and maintenance in data centers and server rooms. It serves as an ideal alternative or replacement for traditional crash cart trolleys, especially when existing carts are in use or unavailable.

This portable adapter transforms your laptop into a comprehensive KVM console, consolidating the functions of a wormhole switch, capture box, external DVD-ROM, keyboard, mouse, and monitor into a single, compact unit. It enables instant connection to any server, providing immediate access for data maintenance, local operations, troubleshooting, updates, service, and repairs, eliminating the need to move heavy crash carts.

The CV211 offers BIOS-level access, allowing you to enter a server's BIOS during hardware and operating system failures, significantly reducing maintenance time, particularly when internet access is limited or not permitted. It provides fast and easy remote desktop access with no software installation required.

Designed for portability, the adapter is compact and pocket-sized, featuring a unique clip design for convenient cable tidying during use and transport. It supports full functionality, including bi-directional file transfers, hotkey macros, video recording, and screenshots via USB 2.0.

The innovative virtual media function facilitates file applications, operating system patching, software installations, and diagnostic testing through an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI console window can be automatically adjusted to match the remote computer's desktop resolution or manually resized for optimal viewing without scrollbars.
