What we're doing
Local by default
Every seller on UKyard is UK-based. Keeping commerce local means shorter supply chains and lower emissions.
Packaging standards
We require all sellers to use recyclable or compostable packaging. We're phasing out plastic void fill entirely by 2027.
Second life marketplace
We actively encourage refurbished and pre-loved listings. Good products deserve a second home.
Carbon-neutral shipping
We offset 100% of shipping emissions through verified UK forestry projects. Confirmed at checkout.
Efficient infrastructure
Our servers run on renewable energy. We optimise for low-power delivery, from CDN to database queries.
Annual impact report
We publish an honest annual report of our environmental footprint — including where we fell short.
Where we're headed
Our 2030 target is net-zero operations — that means renewable energy for all infrastructure, zero-waste warehousing from our partner network, and carbon-negative shipping for every order.
