These mortice door bolts are inserted into the door or window frame rather than being surface mounted. This allows them to be concealed and provide an additional point of security. They are easy to install and simple to use. A toothed hole in the lock is operated by a standard star key (supplied), which allows the smooth opening and closing of the bolt. A strong and robust bolt made from solid steel. It’s durable and neat finish will remain intact through all external weather conditions as well as complementing internal fittings. Please refer to images for details on installation. The length of the bolts is approximately 55mm (actual size may vary slightly). The external bolt, key escutcheon, receiver and forend plate have a matt black finish, while the internal bolt is zinc. Please refer to the images for dimensions. 2 x mortice rack bolts, 2 key escutcheons, 2x face plates and 2 star keys, along with fixing screws. Mortice door bolts are a simple but effective way of enhancing the security of your doors and windows.
