Compatibility

This adapter is compatible with the following MacBook models:

• 2013-2016 Models: A1465, A1466, A1502, A1398 (including specific models like ME864, ME865, ME866, MGX72, MGX82, MGX92, ME293, ME294, MGXA2, MGXC2)

Important Note: This adapter is NOT compatible with 2017 MacBook models (A1707, A1706, A1708).

System Requirements

To ensure proper recognition of the NVME drive, your MacBook's operating system must support the NVME protocol. The OS version needs to be 10.14 or later. If your system is older, please upgrade your macOS system before installing the NVME drive.

Installation Notes

Please be aware of the following when installing your NVME SSD:

• The adapter does not support recovery from the internet.
• It is essential to prepare a bootable USB disk with drivers.
• The M.2 PCIe (NVME) drive must be erased first, as it does not come with an operating system installed.
