Description: epoxy coated disc construction with radial leads. The voltage dependent resistor is designed to protect equipment's against transient voltage spikes. Connected directly across the power supply rails, when a voltage spike is encounter, the visitor rapidly changes impedance from its normal high impedance state while in standby mode, to a very low level, permitting absorption of the unwanted high voltage and protecting voltage sensitive components and circuits from damage.
