Trumpet Pitcher Plant can be utilised as a fascinating indoor plant. The plant is an unusual looking one, with the foliage forming in a tubular shape of bright green colour, which is joined by a deep red veining throughout. The long, vertical foliage adds a Fly Trapping aspect that is quite unique - it will decompose of small insects. The trumpet pitcher likes to have sunlight and moist soil. Sarracenia can be evergreen or herbaceous, rhizomatous perennials with rosettes of phyllodes mostly modified into insect-catching tubular pitchers with hooded lids, and solitary, nodding cup-shaped flowers in spring. Size may vary between 15-25cm.
