How to Replace Your Tap Valve

Before starting, ensure the water supply is turned off.

1. Use the provided Allen Key to undo the screw holding the lever in place.
2. Carefully pull the lever off.
3. Unscrew the shroud or cover by turning it anti-clockwise.
4. Unscrew the old cartridge by turning it anti-clockwise.
5. Fit the new replacement cartridge. If necessary, screw the old bush on before refitting the cartridge.
6. Refit the cover and lever, then tighten the securing screw.

Important Note on Leaks

These tap cartridges are designed to repair leaks or drips originating from the end of the spout. If your tap is leaking from the bottom of the spout where it joins the tap body, these cartridges will not resolve the issue. In such cases, a spout O-ring repair kit would be required.
