Cuprinol Wood Preserver is a water-based, colourless, general-purpose preserver suitable for interior* or exterior use. It provides deep penetrating protection to sound wood, safeguarding against decay, mould, and blue-staining fungi.

Preparation and Application

• Preparation: Before application, remove excessive dirt, soiling, and large areas of algae, lichen, or fungi using an appropriate fungicidal wash or cleaner. Wood that has been stained, painted, or varnished should be stripped back to bare wood.
• Ground Contact: This product is not intended for wood destined for in-ground contact use. Ensure timber used in ground contact has been pre-treated specifically for such applications.
• Application: Apply the preserver with a brush or roller, ensuring even coverage. Allow the preserver to penetrate the wood for 15-30 minutes. Wipe off any excess preserver.
• Drying Time: Allow 16 hours for the preserver to dry before applying a second coat if necessary.
