About this item

ZEBRA PLANT - The Haworthia Fasciata Big Band is a real indoor perennial succulent plant, a close relative to the aloe. This very architectural houseplant is often called the Little Zebra plant or Zebra plant. It has thick, fleshy dark green triangular shaped leaves that feature bold white lines often clustered together giving it a zebra striped appearance. NOTE: the decorative pot is not included, it will come in a 11cm plastic growing pot. | EASY TO CARE FOR - This variety of Haworthia is a compact, easy to care for succulent which doesn’t take up a lot of space making it ideal for the home in a bedroom or living room or in an office on a desk. This attractive houseplant is perfect for beginners and is popular with succulent lovers and collectors due to its unique markings. It has a very slow growing habit but can reach a maximum height of between 15 and 25 cm. | GROWING CONDITIONS - Little Zebra plants are best grown in bright indirect sunlight in a South facing window but can cope with slightly more shaded locations. Water when the soil is almost dry to the touch, soaking through and leaving to drain. Keep the soil almost dry in the Winter. Applying plant feed once a month during the Spring and Summer will give it a boost. | REPOTTING - Repot the plant every few years if the pot becomes too small or the roots penetrate the pot. As an added bonus, this plant often produces small baby plants called offsets at the base of the main rosette of leaves. These can be potted up using houseplant soil to give as gifts to friends.
