- •The hand tap set is used to re-thread damaged or jammed threads, or to create new threads. Suitable for tapping through or shallow holes in mild steels, aluminum, iron, copper, hard plastic. Straight flute tap provides fast downward chip removal for efficient threading.
- •The tapping tool kit is mainly for hand use, and is used with a tap wrench. Apply appropriate cutting lubricant or oil during the tapping process for higher quality threads and more durable screw taps.
- •Tips: Ensure proper alignment, use proper tapping technique, and apply consistent pressure as you turn the tap to achieve clean, precise threads. Periodically reverse while tapping to break up chips and remove debris from the flutes, preventing clogging and ensuring smooth operation.
