• •Use of Chemicals Use care when adding chemicals to the pool so that the chemicals do not come into direct contact with the solar pool cover. Always follow the pool chemical directions. Unsuitable pool chemicals, such as copper sulfate, or using the wrong amount, will cause the solar pool cover material to become brittle and the air pockets may break.
