• •Giro Empire W E70 Knit Description: Knitting comfort meets technical support. You've seen the knitting technology in trainers, but it's new to cycling, because cycling shoes require a blend of supple comfort and stable performance that sports shoes don't provide. The Empire W E70 Knit features our patented Xnetic Knit upper specially designed for cycling, a TPU skeleton system and a technical nylon core that provides the support you need to get the most out of your pedal step. Everything stays airy and supple while providing stocking-like comfort. Xnetic Knit is DWR treated for water repellency and easy cleaning, and the reinforced toe and heel areas increase durability and abrasion resistance. When you combine Xnetic Knit with an Easton carbon outsole, you get a powerful combination that also goes a step forward when designing cycling shoes.
