Bestway 58499 Flowclear Sand Filter Pump Flowclear 2000 gal. (7571L) Bestway Sand Filter is a highly efficient way to keep clean water flowing through the above ground pool. It is a cheaper solution as the pump uses silica sand instead of a traditional filter cartridge. While these cartridges need to be replaced every 2 weeks, silica sand lasts up to 3 years.The sand will trap dirt and debris, but a pre-filter basket collects larger things so that the pump lasts longer. The filter also comes with the ChemConnect dispenser, which keeps water clean and healthy while providing a stable level of chlorine that is evenly dispersed throughout the pool. This product is pre-assembled and is compatible with most 1100-54500L above ground swimming pools (300-14400 gallons) as it comes with a 3.8cm (1.5in) outdoor diameter pool valve adapter. Sand is not included with this filter - the required size of sand is siliceous sand No. 20, 0.45-0.85mm, about 20kg. The filter also works well with Bestway's Polysphere filtration balls.
